2-8 March is the International Endometriosis Awareness week and in New Zealand the whole of March is dedicated to raising awareness of endometriosis. This March is a chance for you to really get behind this deserving cause by raising awareness of endometriosis in your community and funds for ENZ to roll out the me programme, patient partnering programme, and the WISE programme nationally. The money raised will also go towards ensuring the free phone line is available to those who need support and information and resources. For more information on the resources and the programmes we provide please check out our fab teen website www.me.school.nz or www.nzendo.co.nz which at the moment is currently being re-vamped and the new site will be launched in March.
So what can you do? We want you to host you own 'Girls Night In' and any money that you and your friends would have spent going out can be donated to ENZ. Getting together with your friends, plus your favourite food and drinks is nothing short of fabulous. This way you can do both, get behind this great cause and spend time with your friends!
We would love you to get behind us during March, you can really help. Let us know what you are doing to raise awareness of endometriosis in your area and how you and your friends, family and colleges are going to spend your own special ‘Girls Night In’. After all, we really are all girls at heart!
